I’m a creative woman living a busy life, just like you.

I’ve spent years squeezing creativity into the margins: the commute, the lunch break, the twenty minutes after everyone else has gone to bed. And what I’ve learned is that creativity doesn’t need more time. It needs permission.

Daily Creative Flow was born from that conviction. It’s a space for women who haven’t stopped being creative, they’ve just stopped making room for it.

What actually got in my way

I’ve had two very different careers. Years in retail management, then years in communications agencies, first as a project manager, then as a copywriter, before I finally let myself go freelance and make room for the creative work that actually feels like me.

Looking back, the hardest part was never really time. It was the fear of being judged. I held myself back from so many things because I was afraid of what people would think. That fear distorts everything it touches, and it took me most of a career to notice how much room it was taking up.

So if there’s one thing I want to hand you through Daily Creative Flow, it’s permission to stop creating for an audience in your head. Sing badly if you want to sing. Draw ugly if that’s what comes out today. Write it down even if no one will ever read it. Cook something strange. Dance in your kitchen. It doesn’t matter which language you choose, music, drawing, words, food, movement, what matters is that it’s honestly yours.

Life is creation. Giving yourself permission to create is really giving yourself permission to live wide awake. That’s the whole point of everything I make here.
